Sorry about that. The second link is for the Federal pattern, Sharon, Cabbage Rose. Without seeing the dish in person it's difficult to tell whether or not it is a reproduction.
The first link (rounded lid) is the Mayfair pattern by the Hocking Glass Company.

Thanks sb ... I can call the second one, "Sharon Cabbage Rose"? ... (I was 'thinking' the first one was Mayfair Open Rose) ...

On the Sharon, Cabbage Rose butter dish look at the knob. If the knob is about 1" instead of .75" high it is a repro. Another thing to look at is the base. From your pictures it's just too difficult for me to tell. The base on the reproductions has a rounded, smooth rim for the lid. New base has a true rim with a hard edge in which the lid fits.
The butter dish base measures 7.5" x 1.5", the cheese dish measures 7.5" x .75" w/rim.

Both patters have been and are being reproduced. Be cautious in what you buy. Might not hurt to purchase a copy of Depression Glass by Gene Florence.

Thanks you two ... I tend to lean toward these being 'old' because I acquired them in a lot of 90-some pieces of pink depr. glass, of which most items were Cherry Blossom I've sold over the past couple weeks, and all those bids went big, AND one of the buyers of that mentioned they took their pieces to a glass show last weekend; ergo, NO one is giving me flack that they think these are the newer pieces ... (also measured per SB's input, and they measure as the older) ...
thanks max, I have a search saved for Gene Florence books I can try to snatch on ebay ....
