Just wondering if sales are picking up for anyone. I have a lot of stuff to list but wondering if I should wait another couple of weeks.

I have seen a slight increase in my regular listings, but my store items have increased quite a bit. I think it really depends on what you sell. I sell mostly craft patterns, and people who are making Christmas gifts have to get started, whereas people buying collectibles etc for gifts would probably not be looking much yet.

I haven't been listing ALOT of things...but I listed 11 auctions last week and 10 sold. Even sold a few things out of my store.
I'm "filing things away" to start in the middle-end of Sept and plan to list like mad until the beginning of Dec.
But I sell the kind of items that don't involve duplicate listings....So for me to work 40+ hours, do art shows on the weekends, do the things I need to do (laundry, dinner, dishes, etc), and have a life....doesn't leave much time for eBay. Or sleep..lol!

I think bidding is starting to pickup, at least an increase from the last several months (which isn't saying much). I'm keeping my listings to a minimal number at the moment. If eBay ever does a decent promotion (such as a 10-cent listing day), I think it could kickstart things.

In the past two weeks, my sales have risen from totally dead, to critically injured, and they're looking like they may be leaving ICU this next week.

Does anyone know when the ebay 10 year anniversary is?? Certainly if Canada got a MONTH of listing goodies for 5 years, we should get SOMETHING down here for 10!!! I can't believe ebay has been so stingy with the reduced price listings this summer!!
My sales are so-so - some days good, some days lousy. I just keep on truckin'

Don't you remember the bone they threw us a little while ago? Half off "extras" I don't use anyway?

I noticed an increase in the last week. My sales were really dismal this summer, and I lost my powerseller status (big whup!). But I had a pretty good night last night.

The 10 year anniversary is in Sept. I don't remember the exact day. The listing counts have been growing all summer, probably why we didn't see any summer promos.

I think it has to do with what you are selling. I have been selling a pattern of old Haviland on consignment & it has really sold well, over $800.00 in the past 2 weeks. Am still listing a few items in it.

My sales have gone up in August - I think the super hot weather has helped. Nobody wants to go out when it's 100 degrees.
Also helped that I was selling off a great collection of German figurines. I feel a huge slowdown this week and next though due to Labor day weekend. My # of watchers is already dropping off for new listings. The end is in sight though with September right around the corner!
