Read about this on an another site. Just thought that I would share.
It has already met its reserve.

One of my favorite shows, although the painting doesn't quite go with my other decor.

Looks like a picture of a menu item for something you'd find at Taco Bell.

Check out the feedback. Does anyone here really think this is a newby running this auction?

Looks too much like a scam to me.

I posted this auction since it didn't seem right to me not to shock anyone. but how hard would it be to scam someone by copying the original art on the show.

Anything can be knocked off.

I just hope that it would be legit and not rip off someone on Ebay so as not to have bad publicity for the good sellers.

Since posting it this morning, it apparently has picked up momentum and funds.

I've been watching this auction since yesterdays LOW of $5,100.00! Quite a day for this seller...I would think that unless the artist and Mr Stenzel are dead it would be useless to knock off the painting esp at the money its at now... you know its in the papers and tv getting a boost of PR. I just hope looking at the bidders that the seller gets his money! Wish it were mine! Heck I wish I had 50 of them!

But who, in their right mind, would buy something for over $25,000 from someone with NO feedback.

Someone mentioned that it has been mentioned on TV. Well, then it will bring out all the creepy crawlers on Ebay and that poor girl probably won't get paid by the winner.

I agree with another poster, this is not really an abstract painting - and it needs to be under the Adult category, not where children or particularly teenagers can view it.

I cannot believe someone has not reported it. eBay is probably leaving it in the general category, as more people will see it, and ebay will make more money on this pricey item.

YUCK!

So do you think that the teens will be thrilled or twisted by it?

It's art. Art cannot hurt you and and teenagers are not supposed to be on ebay anyway.

I'm sure that more than a few uptight prudes probably have reported it. Luckily ebay has the good sense to know the difference between adult material and art.

Sadly, I'm not sure if Ralphie will ever recover after being exposed to this "art" ...Oh! The humanity...

I know that at some point ebay steps in and requires buyers to meet be able to prove they can pay for an auction. I have some friends in Colorado who sold a rare bottle last year for $34,000 and Lee told me that,I believe, $25,000. ebay stepped in and the buyers had to put up some sort of proof! Can't remember what he called it but I know it happened at some point in their sale. I sure hope so for 0 feedback sellers sake. What a way to start and what a let down it will be after the painting and the real ebay sellers life sets in SCHLEP!

Interesting that the bidders that caused the price to skyrocket are from Germany and Poland.
