I do not know where to go for the latest in the words to use for the top line description to get the peoples attention. Ebay should make it known some where. Any help will be appreciated

Give us an idea what you're selling and perhaps we can help you.

**MIB Art Deco Nude Pink Louis Vuitton Tiffany Breasts OOAK**

Of course when viewers see that you are selling closeout counter-top hot dog cookers and a free with purchase Gripper & Flipper kitchen utensil they are going to be pissed but in the meantime, you got lots of views.

LOL Fenix!

Mrtrue, but then everyone would be using those words, if ebay made a list then it really would be as attention grabbing as the word "the".

Good one Fenix!!!

You don't have to tell us the exact item you are selling - just what type of item.
Like new designer clothing or vintage 50's clothing?

The Ebay Pulse has popular searches listed. Here's the current one:

2. ipod
3. louis vuitton
4. star wars
5. lightsaber
6. ipod mini
7. coach
8. harry potter

10. xbox

You can also choose a category and get popular searches for that category.

No real tricks. what I find helpful is write a desciption first often the words you want you use in the title line appear. My listings are usually one of kind.

Ok so here's sort of trick an old one at that!
If your selling the same widgets over and over. Create several different title lines & discriptions for the same product. When buyers do searchs they will end up looking at several of your listings instead of the same product instead of one.

I think the best way to approach it is to put yourself in the buyer's shoes - what words would YOU use to do a title only search? What words would others less savvy than you possibly use? Try to make certain those words are in the title and if they don't fit, in the description. If you have room in the title, try to write a title that would make people curious enough to click on your listing instead of the one above it and below it the search results.

Wow Even an old timer can learn.
Titles are the most important part of an auction without a doubt.

Search past auctions for a similar item, and take your keywords from the listings with the best prices.
