NO!! They will not do a test charge against your card. What were the circumstances surrounding the need for them to verify your card? Are you a brand new seller posting a credit card for the first time? Or did you click on a link in an email you received from Ebay stating you needed to update your info or have your credit card verified?

They make a "micro" charge (something like 17 cents). You then need to enter that amount when you varify the card for automatic transactions. It is a measure to prevent people from making false accounts. It least thats what they did several years ago.
