I bought an item using BIN. I went over Bid Pay and paid. A few hours later I get an email from Bid Pay telling me my order was canceled and there was no explanation given.

The first thing I did was call my bank and ask them if there was a problem. The bank said that bid pay took the money out then put it back.

I wrote to Bid Pay and asked for an explaination.

It took days to get one from them, they said that I entered something wrong on the sellers information.

In the meantime the seller freaks out over over the do not ship letter. I explained what happened and that I would resend.

The seller doesn't respond to my emails and files a NPB. I repurchased the money order. He doesn't respond and gives me a strike. At this point I am really pissed off and I give Ebay proof I paid. Ebay removes the strike from my account.

I called Bid Pay and ask them what to do and they said to allow ten business days for the money order to arrive.

Ebay contacts sellers and lets them that I proved I purchased the item.

I called Bid Pay and they said they would like to talk to the seller. The seller calls Bid Pay and they tell him they would replace the money order. He refuses and tells me to buy it elsewhere.

This seller could have had repeat business from me and my family.

No, it's not the end of the world. I am just feeling hormonal today. If I were the seller in this case I would have worked with the buyer. This guy is new to Ebay. I had three customers to send him. Oh well.

We were all new at one time. I know I made some bad judgement calls & go hit with negs. None of us are perfect, though I am very close. LOL

I entered something wrong on the sellers information...

Doesn't necessarily means it was a typo.

Don't worry about it - come shop with me!!
Sounds like the seller won't do that well on ebay so it's his loss.

SW is right, I should have paid attention typing in the information the first time.

That doesn't excuse the seller for turning down my sale. I did make it right and it wasn't my fault the money order was lost.

I found a site that I can purchase the item so I will be getting my item from another seller.
