Oh boy...I'm in a panic. A few items were scheduled for and launched last eve. Opened the confirmation notices this A.M. to find that I apparently mistakenly messed up the reserve box and ended up with the decimal in the wrong place. Result was 100.00 for the reserve price fee. Instead of 140.00 it came out 14,000.00 I then went to the "revise" on the listing, changed the reserve to what it should have been and got a 2.40 or something like that credit for the listing, but still showed a 100.00 reserve fee. I then went back to the "revise" and totally took the reserve off but still have the 100.00 reserve listing fee..even though there's no reserve at all now. Holy cow..what can I do? Please help. Thanks so much.

Try contacting Live Help from eBay's main page.

"live help," hmmmm....never had them answer a question yet with any constructive info.

you could just go in and cancel the listing and redo it. probably the quickest fix.

If you cancel it or end it early you still will have to pay the listing fee.Your account will still be charged listing fees if you end your listing early.

I would try to contact eBay

I once mistakenly listed a bunch of items as "featured" - I emailed ebay and they waived the fee and told me if it happened again I would have to pay. I think they will be reasonable if you contact them - they will see it was an honest mistake.

In this case, start with Live Help. While the staff unfortunately tends to be basically poorly trained/informed, this should not be complicated and they should be able to forward your request to the proper person.

Do not cancel listing.

I've noticed that sometimes it takes an inordinately long time to get the Live person to respond while on line. Do they read that slowly? Finally realized they're looking for the proper template for a response!

Thanks to all. I went to Live help (didn't even know it existed until now (duh)). I got a response within 3 minutes. The responder submitted a request and assures me the credit is approved and will go thru within 20 days. They said that since it is such a large amount it has to be handled by a "specialist". I'm so pleased with such fast response on live chat and amazed that not only is 100.00 a large amount to me but also apparently for them.
