Going to try and post pictures of this interesting gaudy piece. Here goes. Any help with identifying would be appreciated. Only some tiny hand painted numbers and embossed numbers on bottom. No makers marks.

Toasted: Really, really appreciate you assistance. I have been trying to a very long time to add photos but it just would not work for me. Thank you so much. Now, if only someone recognized the piece....anyone? It's very fragile, bisque like in feel and appearance. Only damage I could find is the nose of one of the two animals is missing.

I think it looks like a Made in Japan import piece. Maybe it had a paper label that is now gone?

I thought the flowers could be prunus - which made me think of the 3 friends on Japanese pieces - bamboo pine & prunus, with the handles being stylized elephants maybe? Couldn't really tell - but I thought the ears looked like elephant ears.
