thanks, toasted! i did need a good laugh.

usually don't get them but have had two bottom feeders today that i had fun with.

victim #1: I am the xxxxxxxx Village President. I would ask you that in the event you don't get any bids on this item you please consider donating it to the xxxxxxx Historical Society. Their President can be reached at: xxxxxxx

my charming answer: i run a business, not a charity. i don't think it would kill xxxxxxx to spend $xxxxxxx on a postcard if it's of interest to the area. that is the least expensive price range of all my postcards and, frankly, i'm amazed that you'd ask this question. it is also NOT a good idea to give out other peoples' e'mail addresses. please do not contact me regarding this matter again. thanks.

victim #2: are you taking an offers. I would like to purchase for $7 shipping is included.

my charming answer: woo-woo, a whole $7! no thanks. it's a lincoln highway card, i don't do best offer bottom fishing, there's no need to. card will sell. thanks anyway. no further communication wanted.

and i'm not even pms'ing. <g> sometimes i just ignore them, sometimes i just can't resist and have some fun with these people.

That auction is the best I've seen in awhile! I'm tempted to buy it just to meet the person who wrote it. Hope granny and the dog have a good home to go to!

Vintage...loved your responses. I almost felt as though Fluffythewondercat was flaring up in you.

P.S. Anyone who has been part of the Vendio community boards for as long as I have...you'll know who I'm talking about.

cta,

oh no, fluffy-ism! yes, i remember fluffy...i tried to fly under the radar in fluffy threads and emerged unscathed, as i recall it.

my husband always laughs at me when i get these bottom feeders - i try so hard NOT to answer their e'mails but my fingers itch and i succumb to the temptation. it's just too much FUN!
