In the past 12 hours we have had .02 inches of rain! This is the first measureable precipitation we have had since the first of May. Without irrigation, sprinlers, etc this would be a desert. Instead we have green lawns, garden crops & strawberries. Ebnay has been slow this month for me, how are y'all doing?

Rain here in NE Ohio, too! Lots of it. We always get the remnants of any hurricanes that hit Florida or the Gulf. We need the rain, though. Instead of grass in the front yard, we have weeds! Seems they don't need as much rain.

This week there has been a surprise pickup in bidding. I think the holiday buying is just starting to kick in right about now.

I'm in Santa Maria, CA, on the Central Coast, 10 miles from the Pacific Ocean. A beautiful climate foe 8 months of the tear. December through March is when we get most of our rain. We get a lot of marine layer cludyness & cool damp days. Never gets roo cold, may freeze once in a while but nothing too bad. Our average total rainfall is about 14 inches.
