Received a "message" from PayPal saying my account had "suspiscious" activity...I'd just received a payment from a customer. Message had something about clicking on link to provide info but that my PayPal account would still be OK and I could continue making transactions. I forwarded the message to spoof@paypal and received a message that the original message was bogus. BUT, when I checked my PayPal account...sure enough, PayPal had deducted the payment from my account and that transaction was "on hold" pending their "investigation". What should I do next? I am NOT sending the item...should I e-mail the customer to explain what's happening? This has never happened to me before...appreciate any guidance.

Sounds like two different problems that are coincidental. Contact the customer and tell them that Paypal will not honor their payment, and that they need to send a money order. No need to waste time with someone who has maxed out their credit card.
