I just can't believe the impatience and total non-understanding of mail-order business that some customers have! Granted... the majority of my feedback is full of nothing but praise of "fast delivery", "received sooner than expected", "quick shipping" and other similar comments. Yet... every once in awhile... I get the occassional "slow shipping" remark. It just irritates me to no end what some bidders determine to be slow!
My latest was a positive today that commented on my slow shipping. Well... let's see the auction ended on 9/14/05... the payment was received on 9/22/05... the item was shipped on 9/23/05... and they left feedback today on 9/28/05. To begin with, anyone want to explain to me how a mere two-week turnaround is slow? What would he have thought if I was like some sellers and had a month or more turnaround! Sheesh! And to top it off... he's from Louisianna... so I'm sure any degree of delay was probably caused by their hurricanes! Some people should just stay clear of mail-order!
My vent for the day... thanks for letting me blow off steam!

I have to agree with you, it is annoying! I've purchased things that have taken 3 weeks or longer to get there. I recently had a feedback from someone complaining about slow shipping. I checked my records, their package was one of the last packages I packed before heading to the post office, which means I shipped their item within ONE HOUR of receiving payment! I think there is some sort of universal relationship between slow payers, and complainers about shipping. Seems to me I get more comments and questions from people who took two weeks to pay, wanting to know why it was not delivered yesterday!

I had a guy complain about one week between payment and receipt. Maybe he thought I lived next door instead of across the entire friggin country.
To be charitable, maybe these complainers have one auction mixed up with an older one.

Or maybe they didn't bother to check the postmark and the package was delayed at the Post Office.
