How about the midwest? It is still hot here, and we are running air yet. I cant wait for it to cool out. That probably wont happen until January or something! But they forecasting the gas/energy bills are going to be a killer this winter....Maybe the temp needs to stay mild.

Up here at 6,000 feet, it's just gorgeous. Down to the 40s at night, up into the 70s in the daytime.

The thrift stores are starting to put out the electric heaters and for some reason, I have the urge to buy all of them when I see them!! Its like OMG, a heater, buy it! Its like seeing the heaters are setting off an alarmest thing with me. Or I am thinking people will want to buy them come winter.

drizzly and gray here today, just looks cold. pulled out one of those radiator-type space heaters and turned it on for awhile in the office.

OKMG! I'm glad I don't live in MN any more. It was almost chilly this AM, down to 50. Yesterday was 86, today about 78.

We still have warm days, but cool nights here in Central Calif. There's a few more days in the 90's facing us, but it won't be long before we get hit in the face with a blast from Alaska.
