Could someone please help me. I really like the idea of scanning small items but can't figure out how to get them from 'MY SCANS' to my vendio listing. I just tried with a baseball card, in order to show condition, but get message saying file to big. Help. Many thanks, Ruthie

One thing you can do is download IRFAN view - FREE and very wonderful picture editing software.

I am not a techie so I can't address any other scanners than the one I have - but you might check to make sure you are scanning at 100% (I scan postcards at 150% and have no problems with size) and your DPI should not be larger than 100 or the scan size will increase.

Also check your jpg compression ratio - I set mine to 80%- it cuts down on the file size considerably! Your scanning software should have a utility to convert to jpg. If not, Irfanview does.

Yes, you simply open up the pic with your picture editing software like HP, Irvanview or Photoshop, resize it to maybe 400 pixels wide and save it in jpg format. It will then not be too big for Vendio.
