Quick question for those familiar with ebay's "Submit best offer", especially those who've been on the other side of the fence.... that of the person making the offer.
I just rec'd an ebay Submit Best Offer from a buyer just a few minutes ago, and it said he just made the offer minutes ago. BUT when I went to reply via "My ebay", it said the offer had already expired!
What the ???? And for once, it was a GOOD offer too!

Oh yeah.... I got so worked up over the loss above that I forgot to ask: Does anyone know if a buyer can retract a "Submit Best Offer?"

I use the "best offer" a lot, but have never noticed that a time was allotted to respond. Will be sure to make note of that next time. I do know they cannot submit twice, but that's all I know about it. It is a good feature and I have sold a lot of items from the store through that feature.

Well, the jury's still out on the submit best offer retraction ability of buyers. But if it's true, then ebay should put that buyer's submit offer retraction history right up there with regular bid retractions on that buyer's feedback page.
