how did you DO that??

give me the link - I'll post it on the Yorkie chat list....get ready

ps also when you list it - in the title put Yorkie Yorkshire Terrier (both) I have to search under both to look for stuff.

some seller has a yorkie and I always pull up her auctions too.

helga and glassgrl,

i am here to enlighten you as to what a _dog_ looks like. ;- a dog has four visible legs and it can see without having its hair tied up in sissy bows.

here we have a baby malinois, my favorite breed and one which serves an actual purpose in search-and-rescue and recovery missions.

here are three handsome adult belgian malinois. again, note the presence of legs and the ability to see.

an actual real dog has many useful functions, such as deterring bad guys

or, qualifying in obedience trials so that you know the dog will do things you want it to do. it does not sit on a pillow or the sofa looking adorable. it actually does stuff. like or

aren't you all sorry that you taught me how to post working urls and pictures? i hope you have enjoyed this foray into the world of real dogs, written because i have nothing better to do with myself this evening and i'm sick of watching tv and i have a new scanner that i'm apparently too stupid to figure out.

no Stetson just grabbed him and bit him - I had to shake both of them to get him to turn loose. Then animal control came and picked up the possum and since the possum died the next day, Stetson is under 45 day rabies quarantine MOL. Fortunately possum's rarely get rabies.

Vintage those are gorgeous dogs - I'm not familiar with the breed - are they related to German Shepherds?

Show me a dog with a nubby tail, and I'll show you a real dog - Boxers rule!

caroline,

yes, they're a working breed in the same general family as german shepherds. there's a long-haired belgian shepherd that's good looking but generally has a more unpredictable temperment than a malinois has. and tervurens are in the same family.

a malinois is a real workhorse. they want to work. here's one trying to help with the gardening!

they're not for a beginning dog owner - they're highly intelligent and require a _lot_ of dedicated training when they're young. they are fiercely loyal and protective but not capriciously vicious - they'll size up a situation before reacting. because of their ability to size up a situation, learn and work long hours, they're prized by police and fire departments.

Cute dogs everyone!

Glassgrl I have plenty of that fabric ~ I bought 5 yards of it

Bizzy I'm glad you like your set ~ I get so many compliments on them.

I updated my listings today (well I will tomorrow, today was cutting, making and picture day) so I'll have a big inventory update tomorrow!

It's late, I'm off to bed!

Thanks all!
