I have been on the PalPal site looking for information on the requirements for more than one PayPal account but search is showing errors and telling me to check later. I know that I have read discussions here about having more than one PayPal account so hope for some help with answers.
My sister and I have an online (non eBay) shop. We do not have a high volume but have steady sales. At present I have a Personal and she has a Premium account. We both use our accounts for buying but we direct all the sales from our shop to her account. This works OK but the email on the account is different from our shop address which is sometimes a problem. I think we can add another email address. A solution, I think, would be for me to add a Premier account in the shop name with the unique address and one of my credit cards. This would help keep bying and selling separate.
First question - PayPal says you can have one personal an one premier account but "each PayPal account must contain unique email addresses and financial information." Does that mean a different bank account as well as a different credit card? I can not find this on the site.
Second question - Can we transfer the money out of that account into our own accounts without fees. Now my sister uses the account to pay for her purchases and sends me checks for my part of the sales or we use my sales (which are much smaller than hers) to balance the constantly fluctuating amount we owe each other.
We would be grateful for any help you can give us.

yes,each account will have its own bank and credit card,they cannot be shared with another account.
if you transfer fund from one account to another,paypal will take a cut in the transfer.
However you can download paypal balance into the bank account associated with that paypal account and then once money is in the bank account,do ACH (automated clearing house) to move that fund to another bank account,thats outside paypal.!!

is ACH an online thing? (glad someone jumped in here, because I have been wanting to set up 2nd acct. for separate business, too)

ACH is part of online banking-when you pay your bill online stating the company you want to pay,its routing number and account number,thats ACH.
It is not part of Paypal.
