This has never happened before, but the past couple of weeks, I've had several customers e-mail me just a few days after the end of an auction (and after they've paid with PayPal) asking me to leave them feedback. One customer sent me 3 e-mails this past week asking for me to leave feedback. As a matter of practice, I leave feedback a week after auctions have ended...I do them all at once (saves time) and generally, by then, all have paid. Felt like telling my anxious customer that I'd have more time to do my feedback if I didn't take the time to respond to his silly e-mails but my good sense prevailed. Anyone else getting these requests for feedback?

Subject has been brought up more than once. A fellow Vendioite has answered the requests by stating that he doesn't participate in the feed back program, but does reply in kind when a buyer leaves him feedback.

My "anxious customers" all paid quickly and left feedback...they were just wanting me to leave feedback faster than what I usually do.

If they paid and left positive feedback, why not leave it then?

They can ALWAYS set up a NEW Account( They will NEVER use again),,,,Bid on YER stuff and SLAM you with a NEG! Slow in responding to positive feed back...That'll teach you. It takes milli seconds to go there and return their FB...You may want to re think doing them all when YOU get around to it...

Believe it or NOT their/there(sp) ARE some NASTY people out there.

Keep on keepin' on.

What baffles me is buyers who leave feedback the moment they get my EOA notice--and before they've even paid. That's happened a few times--usually by newbies, bless their hearts.

Do you Vendio??? If so set it to leave FB for you as soon as you get it or the next day. I have mine set for 3 days later - just in case I don't want to use the automatic FBs.

Did the customer already leave positive feedback for you?

If so, I would either take a moment to leave them feedback, or just let them know you'll be posting feedback soon (ie your normal feedback routine).

For the most part, I would just ignore these requests. There are bidders out there who have nothing better to do than pester sellers about posting feedback.

I wonder if this type of request is coming from buyers who've just begun on Ebay or who still have low feedback numbers? When I first began buying on Ebay I was extremely eager to build up my feedback just as fast as possible, and I paid immediately, sent polite e-mails, etc.

About 3 or 4 times I recall e-mailing the seller and asking if he/she would consider leaving feedback for our successful transaction, explaining that I was hoping to build my feedback quickly. No one seemed to take umbrage, and I did get a couple of feedbacks I may not have gotten otherwise.

Now, I hardly look at my feedback--but then it was important to me.
