Pet peeve - seller's who put cutesy sayings in place of city or state in the location field. My favorite was a few weeks ago the seller had something stupid in that field and he was selling a large item for pickup only! No location in the description either.

I can understand not wanting to put your city and state for safety reasons - but at least put your gosh darn state or the region!

This is what set me off. A worthy message, but very annoying.

It's likely to be one coast or the other

A seller with the name "dogbreath" needs to try a little harder in order to inspire confidence. In this case, less is better. She needs to shorten the TOS to one or two lines, eliminating red print and warning words of caution. Although this seller is successful in handling sales, she might increase bids if she could improve the TOS and as you suggest, add her location.

I did get a laugh from the auction where the location was "My Basement".

Caroline,

They don't put messages about animal spaying on their auctions in the MidWest, do they?

Just click on Advance Search and then insert their Ebay ID after you click on Items By Seller. Viola! Their location comes up.

It's not the SELLERS location we want to know it's the Bidder/BUYERS Locations....WHILE the Auction is in progress.

Thanks.

You can do the same thing with the bidders location, only put their ID in sellers.

Great idea - I forgot all about that feature - thanks!

The other annoying one is the clothing sellers who put my closet as their location. Makes me want to slap them.
