I don't know if this is a new feature or whether I didn't pay attention. Anyway I mailed out 2 pkgs today & I noteiced the there was a statement saying that recipent would be notified of the mailing date & given the tracking number. I have done this by personal; email forever, but I think this is neat. Any comments?

Yes, they will do that, but most/much of the time the emails end up in spam folders because of the sender's generic sounding return address. Neat idea, and should save time, but ...

I've never had a problem with it, works great. I use a full page mailing Label and one half goes on the package and the other I put on the back of the page of the item, it has the tracking No. in case there is a problem. There never has been one. You can use this for any item you sell on ebay, even if it not paid for by paypal. You just go to my ebay and then you can print the same as through paypal.

sanmar - I think you just missed it in the past. They have had this for a while now. I love it.
Gasolineguys - You can also just print the top section or the label only which will save paper(and money). I have mine set to email me a copy and I just save that to a folder in my email program in case I need it which rarely happens. You probably don't even need to save the emails as you can get all that information from either paypal or the auction itself.

Gasolineguy; Hi Don, I have been doing this for as long as PayPal has had it. I just never noticed that P/P sends the buyer a notice of shipment & the DC. I just wish they would hook up with FedEx Ground as they do with UPS. I guess it doesn't make too much difference as I have an open account with FedEx.
