BANK SCAM OR GENUINE.???
this email just came into my mail box. photos and all. could not get the photos to show up.

I have emails like this in the past asking me for info on my acct with Washington MutuaL & I have never had an acct with WaNu. I don't trust on line banking anyway.

Under the strict privacy laws enforced outside the US, most banks will never email customers as that would violate those laws. Email is the electronic equivalent of corresponding with a bank customer on a postcard. Most of our bank correspondence comes in unmarked envelopes with no or generic return addresses in other countries.
Same goes for our online banking - they never, ever email us - always postal mail. Strangely the only banking emails we do get are from banks with whom we don't have online accounts so there are no security concerns...
