What to think? Ad says takes Pay Pal. Invoice says takes Pay Pal but when tried Payment via PP was denied so had to use Bid-pay which cost $5.45 more.
Don't know about you but I only bid on lots that takes Pay Pal. This is a first for me.
What to think?

Got a reply No wonder sales are down!!
At least seller answered and may make it right. I explained that you CAN amend active Ebay auctions.
"I had to send information in to paypal because I have been getting so many
payments. I should have my acct back up next week, I also now that they
have done this to a few other sellers. I am sorry for the incovince but when
the item was listed I was acceppt paypal and I will be taken paypal again
later in the week. As soon as it is back open and I can send money I will
refunded the $5.45 to your paypal acct. Again I am sorry for the trouble."

He propblably had an unverified address, and the good folks at paypal got worried that he was taking so many payments (i.e fraud prevention).

What an excellent seller! More professional and customer-oriented than feeBay or paypal. They couldn't be bothered to spend a nickel to have Hadji give you a call?
I think you over-reacted and should eat the bidpay charge, although the seller is doing the right thing. JMHO.

You surly are entitled to your view point. I would be most interested why you believe I should "eat" Bid-pay charges (Or MO charges)on a ebay lot that clearly and repeatedly states "takes Pay Pal" which is free to be as a buyer?

You are correct I could of waited longer for a reply. I waited 36 hours which I thought was long enough but I may have been wrong. Good point.....

I agree. 36 hours isn't very long at all. An e-mail to the seller first before sending payment would have been the proper thing to do.
I also agree that this seller must be one heck of a person agreeing to pay your bidpay fees even though it really isn't his/her responsibility to do that.
