Well ebay limited my listing ability. They sent me some email about seller limits and wont take any more listings. I faxed them an invoice for my merchandise as well as my drivers license and credit card statement. Any idea how long this will take to sort out? Should I open up a new ebay account?

Did they give you a reason why?

I have never heard of a limit on listings & are you sure the email was from eBay?

Looking at your auctions, the only thing I can think of, and this may be way off target, is that some of the high dollar items you are selling now won't ship until Dec. 1st, and Ebay is viewing these as either presales or dropshipments. It's possible they may have had problems with dropshipments, and are tightening up security by placing limits on some high dollar items. The fact that you had to fax them your merchandise invoices seem to point that direction. They probably just want to make sure you have these items to ship before they will lift the restrictions or raise the listing limit.

It is from ebay because they cancelled a bunch of my listings at the same time I received the email.

You should still have seller limits if you start a new account.

Hopefully, ebay will let you list again soon, given that you've sent their required info.

If anything, it sounds like ebay's attempt at fraud prevention from sellers who list high-priced items.

uh...Toben...

one of your $100 BIN auctions has text that states a sale price of $29. Did you copy someone else's ad?(not that I care)

Could be why you haven't sold it yet.

I don't want to say which one on the board, but if you can't figure it out, let me know.

lt ray - That bag ran out of stock and I didnt' want to take it out of my store so I just upped the price to where no one will buy it until I get more stock.

I have a friend who pays her ebay bill from her PayPal account manually (in other words it is not automatically deducted from her account) and she can only list until her ebay bill reaches $500 and then she has to pay the bill down to list again - she has never had auctions cancelled though so perhaps not the same thing at all.
