I have bid on several items on E-Bay this week and won all of them. Most of the time I never see these items listed so I'm doing the happy dance. Maybe having that half off FP listing helped.

I've been tempted to do the same. Been finding unbelieveable bargains while doing research.

On the down side, that also means sales are bad for the seller.

Most of the bidders are stampedeing into WalMart and Target like a herd of cattle. Those that don't wind up in the emergency room, or at home totally exhausted from looking for bargains, just want to sleep for a couple days. The bidding field is wide open for the smart shoppers that do their homework.

Shhh! Keep quiet so other buyers aren't tipped off.

p.s. there was another good weekend earlier this year now marked on my calender as a "DEAD PERIOD" when items were also going for a song.

Well, I had to laugh. Have you all heard about Cyber Monday yet? Maybe they came out with this years past, but I dont remember hearing it?

Seems like they hyped 'black friday' all over the place, it did a world of good for the store retailers. Lets see what cyber monday does for onliners. hhahaha

DB:
I heard about CyberMonday for the first time also this weekend. I guess I've been using the method for some time. I see a book or two at a large chain book store only to go home and buy it off Amazon. I actually did a search last night for CyberMonday but for some reason I thought they had called it Techno Monday. Anyway, the principal is the same "new idea" for cnbc and the like.
What? Go shopping at a retail store and then shop for a better deal on the internet???? What do they think has been happening to the antique market for the last 5 years? I just thought by now PDAs and the like would be easier to do the on-line search while they were standing in the store!

I hope they do buy on Monday and Tuesday because my auctions look sick right now. I ran all 10 day auctions. I'm getting a lot of lookers, not many bids. Thats bad because I started a bunch of lots at 99 cents. I'm glad I put a reserve on them. All I've been selling is FP and stuff out of my store.
