Just received an email from ebay saying that a buyer notified them that I hadn't paid for an auction. It asks me to respond by clicking a button, then of course, type in my ebay password...which I didn't do. I have emailed the seller because I paid for the item at the exact moment the auction ended (it was a buy it now) and it shows in my paypal account that it was paid for on 11/29. I hate to get in trouble with ebay WHEN I DID PAY IMMEDIATELY!!! Could this be a spam email just trying to get ahold of my password?

Did you check "MY MESSAGES?" -- if it ain't there, it is probably a fishy phish!

ALSO: how is the email addressed?

TO YOUR REAL NAME is LEGIT, whereas

"Dear eBay User" = KAKA!

Good grief...turns out I did buy TWO phones on the same day and I totally do NOT remember bidding on two! So, I am now the proud owner of two Motorola Pink Razor phones and I only needed one. Guess, I'll turn around and sell the other one that I don't remember winning or bidding on - on ebay! The wierd thing is that the second seller never shot me an email, or an invoice, or an email asking for payment....NADA!! Just waited a week and shot me this ebay notification. I really like communication between buyer and seller...where did that go? It's great for people like me who don't know that they accidentally bid on two different phones thinking they were the same one! What a dork! And I've been doing this since 1999.
