I been getting this error for the last 30 minutes:
Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

There is a back door into paypal. If anyone has sent you money use the link to the transaction and it should work. Only the homepage seems to be affected by this problem.

Yep they are having problems and the links in payments not working either just thought I would see if that worked. got same message

Sorry for a nother post but you can access the contact paypal by email without signing in at least I did it with contact us at bottom of page of log in screen that has message on it right now. here is link to start of contact page at Paypal that I got.
May not be one they stated but might help you in future.

Irked, that is the addy I emailed and received the basket response from. Also tried all the "backdoors" I could think of. The site is just plain dead for a practical purposed.
