Mine was 7 years ago, when I opened a card from my husband, and he had made a certificate to say that I could buy any cat I wanted. It was special because he has never liked cats, although we have had them for years. This is what I bought.
He is a Ragdoll, weighs over 20 lbs, and is very lazy. The joy he has brought me in the last 7 years is more than any other gift I have ever received. And, my husband really likes him!!

I could say a DIVORCE, except it came in November. Still was a great present.

My first train set which I wish I had today. The first Lego set was neat too, my Mom was as thrilled with it as I was.

My engagement ring last year. My boyfriend at the time (husband now) put it in a ring box and then put the box with a scroll saw he bought me. I almost didn't see the little box when I opened up the box to the scroll saw.
When I was about 6 or 7 I got a Mickey Mouse watch which I still have to this day. Of course it doesn't work now but I still have it.

My best Christmas gift was a red Victoria Secret terry cloth robe that my brother, David, bought for me in 1995. It was the last gift he was able to give me because he died in April of 1996. It's old and ratty and torn in a few places, but I wear it all the time and would never think of replacing it.
