I would hold off a few days. If Ebay is going to have a FLD or even a ten cent listing day, it will be between Christmas and New Years day. Last year it was on the 26th.

I generally have auctions closing on Christmas and have about the same success rate. Not everyone celebrates, not everyone is busy all day and some get funds for gifts that they use to purchase items the collect or just desire.

"Not everyone celebrates, not everyone is busy all day"

Very true, but then again, a large percentage of people WILL do SOMETHING, so why risk it? Just double up on Monday's auctions. What's waiting one day going to hurt?

Replay - less competetion in busy catagories from others that believe that Christmas day is a bad day to have acutions closing

Just remember, any auctions launched on Christmas day, will end on New Years day. Might be an interesting experiment. For certain items, it might even be a gold mine.

It might be a good day to launch auctions for headache medicine/remedies.

I may list a few things to end on New Years Day - probably not going to be a day people are really out and about - I'd like to thing they'll stay home recovering from New Years Eve.

Christmas Day I'm a little worried about - but I agree, not everyone is busy all day.
