Is there anyway to insert a Buy It Now after someone has already bid? I really need something by Xmas and the seller has agreed to sell me the item at a higher cost. I asked to have a Buy It Now inserted but he says Ebay won't allow it after there is a bid on it. Is there anyway around this?

The only way is to cancel the bid then insert the buy it now.

I don't think you can add a BIN after bids have been cancelled.

They could start a new listing with fixed price or a BIN.

You can't put a BIN in even if you cancel the current bids - I made the mistake of trying it. God forbid you should be able to accept a BIN offer from buyer without ending your auction and relisting and paying even more fees.

Yeah there is no way to add the BIN. Ask them to end it after you bid with you as the winner.
That's the only way to do it that I know.
