I actually managed to log in to my eBay from eBay france AND eBay Canada, and they both work fine. So if you really need to get in, try the www.ebay.ca link (but not sure if you can ship from it but either PP or USPS should be stand-alone direct access anyway)
Otherwise, it just rolls and times out still already. I love the "a few users." That's means hundreds of thousands no less. Good thing I don't have any auctions ending, or all those watched items would be no-bids.

I just won an auction, and it took 5 sign-in pages to finally let me send a message to the seller. I am tired of signing in today! I hope eBay doesn't keep this up, and that it's just a glitch.

I've been having problems all day. Trying to look at completed auctions keeps throwing me out. eBay Marketplace Research throws me out.
Now, I just got a "The browser you are using is rejecting cookies." Funny how my browser is having problems when eBay hasn't gotten its sh^t together for days.
I wonder how much money eBay and its users are losing due to this clusterfck.

Claude, I can tell you how much money I'm losing: 55 to 66%.
A necklace that went last week for $18? Today, $6. A bracelet last week sold for $8; today $3.50. It goes on and on and on. Sellthrough is waaaayyyy down. And I normally have sellthrough in the high nineties.
The people who are managing to get into eBay today are snapping up bargains right and left. Gee, maybe today's eBay fubar was their way of giving their employees a "special" shopping day.

Tell me about it! 72 items ended this am and SURPRISE - no new bids entered all morning! Just too many listings in the postcard categories to see many bids before the ending hours (because of search 'ending soonest'). THANKS EBAY!! Why must you continue to "fix" what wasn't broken!
We'd better get a fOR REAL HONEST TO GOODNESS FLD for putting up with the horrow-show of ebay this season!

I spoke with my PS rep who said that while this is obviously their #1 priority, they have no ETA on a fix.
The code rollback excuse is looking less and less likely.
The stock started tanking around noon; the market in general is down, but eBay is down 2.87% on the day.

The people in the IT dept that are responsible for all these glitches and screwups are the same people that are responsible for the security of our credit card and personal information that we have on file with Ebay. Kinda scarey, huh?

GRRRRRRRRRRHHHHHHHHHH This is past the funny, hit a sore spot, going to pop my top, ticked off, not having a good time, seriously POed, jumping up and down mad and hitting my head on the desk stage. Hmmm, need a new descriptive phrase to describe it. How's blithering going to blow a major mushroom cloud if they don't get this sign in "some member's having a problem" fixed soon.
Just spent the last 5 minutes trying to answer a buyers question. Go to items with questions, click on the question, type in response, then the speed bumps start falling from the sky. Ask me to log in again and again and again, finally another send message to ebay member window opens. Well I was not trying to send a message to the guy, I was trying to answer his question. Send the reply anyway and go back to my ebay and walla, the question has not been answered yet. That's because I didn't answer it, I just sent him a message. Try the whole process again 4 times and was finally able to actually answer the question.
I have 40 or so auctions ending in 3-4 hours. Think I should just cancel all of them?? With all the problems ebay's having today I am tempted to.

Well, just got done chewing on a Live Help rep. Here's a copy, the last few items are worth noting. That being that he said ebay is refunding insertion fee's for auctions cancled because of this problem.
Here's the transcript of your conversation
Your chat session started.
Jayson I.: Hello and welcome to eBay Live Chat.My name is Jayson. I apologize for the delay. Thanks for waiting. How may I assist you?
mikes4x4andtruckrepair: Is ebay ever going to get their site fixed?? Should I end all the auctions I have ending tonight?? This problem has got me to the blithering going to pop a major mushroom cloud point. Just spent the last 5 minutes trying to answer a possible buyers question. I was already signed in and it keeps asking me to sing in, again and again and again. Finally I get a send a message to a ebay member. I didn't want to send a message to a member, I wanted to answer a question. Sent it anyhow. Well imagine that, the question was still in my ebay. Tried 4 more times and was finally able to actually answer the question. I do absolutly belive that ebay has gotten to large for themselves. You create more problems than you can keep up with. What's up with all the new code and improvements. JUST LEAVE THE GOD DAMN SITE ALONE. And you wonder why your stock value is in a continual downfall. I wonder why. Could it be that you are pissing off people like me who have sold thousands of items off on your site so much that we have just had it and will not take it anymore. Maybe it's time to try Yahoo auctions or something else. If I keep with ebay I will be bald in a few more months with all the disasters you guys are creating on a daily basis.
Jayson I.: I am very sorry to hear about your situation. As a seller myself, I understand how frustrating this can be. We are aware that there is some sign in problems on our site. I would like to assure you that we are trying to get this fixed as soon as we can. I really appreciate your patience in the meantime and would like to apologize for any concern or inconvenience this may have caused.
mikes4x4andtruckrepair: Have you people even thought of extending auction times until this "problem" is fixed.
mikes4x4andtruckrepair: Or should I just cancel all of my auctions now.
Jayson I.: We are working on a resolution to overcome this issue. .In this situation, the best thing to do is to contact our Billing Department. They'll have access to all your account information and will be able to provide you with the best assistance. Let me get you that link to contact them. One moment please.
mikes4x4andtruckrepair: What does the billing department have to do with people having trouble getting to and bidding on my auctions???
mikes4x4andtruckrepair: I don't have a billing problem. I have a site is all screwed up problem.
Jayson I.: The billing team is issuing credits for listings ended because of this problem
mikes4x4andtruckrepair: Credits???? What, they are going to refund the insertion fee's on auctions cancled today?
mikes4x4andtruckrepair: Did I understand you correctly?
Jayson I.: That is for listing that seller's ended because of this error. But your best bet is to contact them to see what they can do to assist your problem. I really do appreciate your patience and understanding in this matter.
mikes4x4andtruckrepair: What about my fee's I incure from Vendio auction hosting. They going to refund them also?
Jayson I.: Here is the link for our billing team
Jayson I.: http://pages.ebay.com/help/contact_us/_base/result_3_2_10.html?item=&dsturl=http%3A%2F%2Fpages.ebay.com%2Fhelp%2Fcontact_us%2F_base%2Findex.html&tier0=%5Bobject+Object%5D&tier1=result_3_2_10&continue=Continue+%3E
Jayson I.: Just click on the "Email" link on that page. It's under the heading "Customer Support Option(s)."
Jayson I.: Sorry but since I don't handle billing issues, your best bet would be to contact them for the best assistance. Thanks for your patience.
mikes4x4andtruckrepair: Ok, thanks for the link. That's all I need for "NOW".
Jayson I.: You're very welcome. Thanks for your patience. Please feel free to come back on Live Chat if you need help with anything else in the future. Have a great day.
The agent ended your chat session.

I guess I will cancel all of my auctions tonight and relist them and request a insertion fee credit as was stated above in my chat with a Dead Help rep (oh, that's Live Help. I wounder sometimes)
