If there has already been a discussion of this, then mia culpa.
I can't get items to combine via the ebay invoice. About 25% of my VD invoices get kicked back to me by spam filters so I go do an ebay invoice but if someone has multiple items, they won't combine.
Is this because I have the redirect on?
Any insight would be appreciated.
And Merry Christmas to my fellow VD'ers.

When you are in your My Ebay, go into Sold, there click on one of the items, in the next screen, just click on the boxes on the left side of the screen. It should make adjustments for you, then add the shipping costs.

Thanks, but when I do that all I get is the one item that I click on, no boxes on the left.

How many days between purchases?? There is a place (I cannot search to tell you where right now) I think in Seller options that asks you within how many days you want the buyer to be able to combine purchases. I almost think that it is preset to 7 days (maybe 3) you have to go in and change the number of days.
I have trouble trying to figure out how to combine after the person has already checked out. I have had it happen several times where they decided to buy another item and wanted to combine and I have to read just the new purchase invoice because I cannot combine them. Anyway I think what you are looking for is in Seller Options or Seller Account.
Happy Holidays!!

o send a combined invoice to a particular buyer:
Click the "Send Invoice" link from the Items I've Sold view in My eBay.
From the Invoice page, you will see all the items the buyer has purchased from you.
Select the checkboxes for the items you would like to send a combined invoice for.
Click the Combine Items button to create a combined invoice.
Adding Items to an Existing Invoice
To add items purchased by the same buyer to an existing invoice, you will need to first uncombine the existing invoice.
Go to the payment status page and click on the "Edit" link.
On the next page, select "Uncombine purchases.”
Combined invoices and eBay Checkout
You will need to have eBay’s Checkout feature turned on to receive a combined payment for your items or to send a combined invoice to your buyers. If you have Checkout turned off, you can turn on Checkout by going to the Preferences page in My eBay. Select the "Update payment preferences" link, and then select the "Show Pay Now button for all payment methods" option.

The answer to your question is - Yes - it is because you use the redirect. Setting your auctions to redirect to one of the third party services like Vendio or Works disables the ability to send combined invoices thru ebay.
Annoying little glitch isnt it?
