Sort of startled me when it occurred. When you place a bid and it is accepted, 1st you hear a loud zipping sound - then a popup appears in the rt. bottom corner of the screen informing you of the fact. Personally I think it is as annoying as the addition of music and verbage added to listings by sellers.

What startles me is that they continue to introduce all these changes during the busiest time of the year. Why can't they do this in July when a bug will have a lesser impact?

I can't say I have seen it. Might be because I use Mozilla Firefox internet browser? Glad I'm not though. Just more of ebay's unwanted junk.
