I'll be darned. It looks like Mother Nature has her own ideas about how to throw a New Year's eve bash. I may be wrong, but I believe if this thing can reach hurricane strength before midnight tomorrow night, it will be the latest one ever recorded in a season and break another record. Just goes to show, never turn your back on the Atlantic, especially after the kind of season you went through this year.
