I need to find out if I list something on Ebay, can I also get it listed on Ebay italy at the same time? How can I do this? Is there a listing software package (like vendio) that will do this for me?

To list directly on the Italian ebay site (ie have your listings show up there), I think you need to sign on directly from there and list: (perhaps there is crossover from other ebay Euro countries sites)

I'll try and keep this as simple as possible.
You can list on ebay.com and it will be displayed on ebay.it provided your listing is available to overseas bidders and your shipping preferences reflect that.
If you want to list your item in Euros then choose one of the European ebays as your venue - I'd suggest ebay.ie (Ireland) as it's in English, or ebay.it if you comprende Italiano plus ebay.it is one of the cheapest European ebays to list on too. ebay.ie will likely have another 10 cent listing day in the coming weeks too.

agitprop, Thank you for that detailed answer. So if I understand correct, I can list using Vendio or some software package if I include international shipping options, it will be listed in Ebay.it. If I list directly into Ebay .it than it will be listed in Euros, not dollars.
I am going to Italy for the Olympics and I want to list items as I get them. Many of the customers will be in Italy, many will be in the states. I need to be sure that it is in both Ebay.com and Ebay.it.
I just really wish that Vendio would cover second chance offers. If It did, I would use them no matter how much more epensive they were than a software package (any suggestions would be welcome).

Just for fun, I clicked on the link sthoemke left.
When I got on the Italian site,I couldnt read anything as I dont read Italian. So for the hell of it I clicked on one of their categorys to see what was listed.Again I couldnt read anything,so I just clicked on the first item on top of the page as it was going for 30 Euros and I was curious what was so expensive.
I clicked on this item number 6238677390
I almost fell over....this is something classic does NOT need.....Im never going back to that site again!!!!!!
THIS CAN ONLY HAPPEN TO ME!

dejapooh: For me, it doesn't matter if Vendio covers second-chance offers or not. I can always offer them through my eBay listings. I don't understand what the problem would be for you. . . . unless you're using one of their more high-powered methods of selling?

Darn looks kinda real----hard..... LOL
That is too funny. I understood a few words but would have been curious too. They must have more lax rules than US ebay on adult content being right out there.

Can't touch this! uh huh, uh huh.

I only use Vendio so I can choose the start time (which Ebay allows for less money), and for the auction tracking ability and inventory. Because vendio does not support SEcond chance offers, I have to have 2 different kinds of post sale. Once vendio and one based on Second chance offers. I also have to hand ajust my inventory numbers. It just makes things more difficult and time consuming.
The fact is that I will have enough to fill 20 hour days while I am at the olympics and do not need the extra work Vendio will require for second chance offers.

dejapooh,
Suggest you visit a large Italian bank with online banking and open an account with them so you can be paid free of charge by Italian buyers (or other Euro zone customers). Take your passport and drivers licence for ID, and give your address as your hotel, etc. as once it's open you can change the address to your usual US residential address. When you have enough money do a transfer back to the states (or leave it invested in Euros)...

agitprop, items from the US will ONLY show up on the Italy site if there are NO matches from a search from the Italian page.

Signore sthoemke,
You need to set Luoghi preferiti to "Nel mondo" and not the default "eBay Italia" to show worldwide listing on many of the European eBays - it's a well known bug in the eBay database engine. Don't worry, eBay are right on it and promise to fix it "real soon now" since 2001...
The workaround is trivial and is left as an exersize for the reader; hint involves Italia.
