I'm wondering if anyone else is bugged by eBay's Yellow Button for Email replies?
A buyer can check a box that says, "Hide my email address." When they do this you must click the Yellow Button and reply from within eBay's web based email forwarding system.
First of all I have several different eBay accounts and don't want to have to switch accounts just to answer a question.
There are buyers out there who fail to update their email addresses (in their eBay personal info) when they change ISP's. This means that email sent to the eMail address they have stored with eBay is going nowhere. This is an eBay gotcha.

My sister, Pixiamom got a virus by "clicking the yellow button"...but of course it wasn't a REAL yellow button - just LOOKED like one.

When I see, "Click the yellow button", I click the delete button and move on. They can contact me properly or the heck with'm.

The yellow button sucks - particularly since sometimes if you just hit reply to the email - you get the bidder's email, sometimes you don't. Sometimes you feel like a nut, sometimes you don't.
