what is this item called it stands about 3inches tall and the plate is 6 inches wide and has the fenton tag? i have no idea.

Looks like a toothpick holder.

Too large for a toothpick. I believe Fenton listed this as a pot and saucer. They also show vases that are that shape and size. This combination was probably for jam.
