I can't tell if ebay has taken the $ out of my checking account or not! I am set up for automatic pay from checking. This USED to happen on the 20th of every month like clockwork. Ever since they started this new billing system however it's a crap shoot when they take the money and I AM SICK OF IT!!!

It looks like they took November bill on January 3rd and I can't see from my checking account side that December has been charged yet but when I go to "My Ebay" My Account it shows that I have paid the December bill! WTF!!!!

Worse yet I can't ever get a bill - the email says it's too large to email but when I try to look online it is always currently unavailable. WTF!!!! What kind of way is this to run a business??

don't know if you want to go this route (it does give eBay a free float on your $ for a week or so but it cuts them off at the pass, too), but here's what works for me. my billing date is supposedly the 15th. this means, they'll bill me at some point between the 15th and the 22nd...usually on the 15th but not always. i guess this is to keep me "on my toes."

i don't really want eBay in my checking account, or PP either. i just don't like electronic banking, and the - admittedly remote - possibility for security breaches. so around the 7th or 8th of each month,
i make a payment to eBay via the PP route in the seller account, where you can "pay now". i pay more than what i know i'll owe in store monthly fees, FVFs, etc. i do it early to allow for the 5 business days they say they may take to process a payment, although it's never taken more than a day and is usually processed within an hour or so.

this means that whenever my bill is due, i always have a positive balance with them. then during the month, i let it dribble down to nothing and make sure to start the process all over again before the 15th of the next month. so far, KNOCK ON WOOD, this has always kept everything running smoothly for me at ebay.

good luck straightening it out, neglus! it sounds awfully frustrating.

I myself pay my bill weekly with my PP debit card. At least I get to stick them with the 1.5% cash back through PP.

Good luck getting it straightned out.

They say your memory's the second thing to go, I just can't remember what the first thing is.

Since someone posted about ebay charging them $5800 for a $58.00 bill, I have tried to pay before I get my invoice. I use my Paypal fund (like mikes4x4 said, you get some cash back too!!!)
