Does anyone know how to clean or improve the look of clouded plastic? I have some old tube radios that I'd like to list soon but noticed that the plastic on one of them is very clouded and I think I'd get more for it if it was a bit more cosmetically appealing. Seems like I've read somewhere that there is an automotive cleaning product out there that cleans plastic light covers. Any suggestions?

The best way that I've found to clean and polish plastic is one of the very mild abrasive polishes. Simichrome or Maas are about the same, and work very well. You'll need a little elbow grease too.

I use a Baldor buffer. Looks like a bench grinder but has extended shafts and two 12 inch buff wheels. It's made to do metal but it works good on plastic as well. You just have to be carefull not to stay in one place to long or it groves the plastic. With a little practice you can buff cloudy plastic back to like new condition.
They say your memory's the second thing to go, I just can't remember what the first thing is.

Here's some links for plastic polish. The second one you could probably get at a motorcycle shop or maybe even a auto parts store.
