When I right click to "save picture as" on an image (getting them from my biz partners listings) I cannot get them to save as jpeg.
They only will go as bitmp.
Used to be able to clear cookies and delete files and that would do the trick. NOT this time.
Can anyone tell me what I need to clean, clear, crash or dump to enable jpeg?

Sometimes when you go to save the picture, in the field box with the file name, leave the file name in the box but add .jpg at the end of the picture file name. That should then save your picture as a jpg.
Make sure you delete the file extension after the name of the picture file you are saving first.
example- say pic file was called ebay.bmp
It should be in your save as box in that way. Just delete the .bmp file extension and type in ebay.jpg
That always works for us.

Which application are you trying to save them in? If you don't have a photo editor, download IRFANVIEW (free) and save images as .jpg - it should convert them.

You can use .bmp files on webpages, just like .jpg files, so if you are using the graphics for webpages or auction listings just leave them as .bmp's.
If you convert them back to .jpg's, you will lose image quality.
