Alcohol. It may leave a faded spot on some colored plastics. Check in an out of the way spot first.

Follow it up with very fine sandpaper, then buff to shiny new. Worked for me when removing school or corporate IDs off old computers...

Simi-chrome, or Maas polish. Great for cleaning, removing scratches, polishing of everything from plastic to soft metals like aluminum. Will not scratch or leave any kind of marks.

There is a cleanser called Zud, removes almost anything from anything.
If your supermarket doesn't have it then check out Lowes or Home Depot.
It's not like any cleanser you've ever used before.

Along with Simichrome, wouldn't be without either, what one won't do the other will.

Both work miracles.

Orange Glo - any of the citrus based cleaners should take it off

Simi-Chrome has the added benefit of identifying Bakelite.
I used to use Zud as a cleaner and it was good - I'll have to get some more and try it again.
