I am considering opening an eBay store, but I like the Vendio automated notices, emails, their whole system.
My apprehension comes in with eBay's system as I have used it before and it didn't work well.
Does anyone use Vendio to list auctions and also have an eBay store? How do you combine won auctions with two different systems? Do you subscribe to eBay's Sales Manager (can't remember what they call it and I can't look it up as I am at work and eBay is blocked at work).
What are the pros and cons comparing Vendio and eBay's Sales Manager, keeping in mind I like the automated relisting, scheduling, combining auctions, combining shipping, etc.

I have had an eBay store for about 4 months & I list through Vendio. I use the Vedio Gallery, I do not iuse the WBN. I use the eBay invoice, but many times the bidder has paid through PayPal so I don't have to send one. I don't see any drawbacks, I use the auction for some things & the store for others. If the item on auction doesn't sell, then I will list it in the store.

rsuave - You don't have to use ebay listing/sales manager to have an ebay store. Vendio can be used for listing and post-sale management for auction and store items.
I have had an ebay store for several years and have never used ebay's selling manager (ok I confess I signed up for a trial and then dropped it after 30 minutes). I have heard the ebay system is much improved now but you don't HAVE to use it unless you WANT to.

I do auctions and also have a ebay store. I use Vendio for everything. About the only thing I do on ebay is buy and update quantity's using their bulk edit feature. That's Vendio's only downfall, you have to pay for their Reviser program. Otherwise I create, launch, do all pre and post sale, print shipping labels all from Vendio.

I'm a little confused about the "stores" in Vendio. I have been told that Vendio Stores are completely separate and don't show up in Ebay.
What am I missing?
If I fill out the stores column in Vendio, all those store auctions will go to Ebay stores and not Vendio stores?
Also, I'm assuming I have to sign up for Stores through Ebay to use stores. Correct?

I am not sure which edition you use to list - I use Merchandising Edition on-line and I indicate that the item will be an ebay store item near the top of the listing form (right underneath the title) where it says "listing type" that it will be an ebay store listing.
You sign up for an ebay store on ebay. The Vendio store is completely different.
