on Amazon...(read earlier message)I sold the framed album(s) on Amz, but I sold it with the album frame. Took a loss, about $4 each, but at least I know I can sell them and get them out the door.

Wow! Impressed I am, Sal.
You won't have much competition that can keep up if you continue to sell items at a loss.
That's the success that comes very easily - that we can all do without...
Would everyone agree?
On the other hand, you may have stumbled onto a marketable sales strategy - Buy High - Sell Low!
Wait. That only works on stock options...

Great Sal - I guess. You might want to check with your tax person though - you might be ahead donating to charity and taking the write-off.

Sal,
When was the earlier message posted? It doesn't show up in the past 60 days. I'd like to learn more about these framed albums.

I remember in the 80's decorating with album covers was kind of a thing (or maybe it's been kinfd of a thing for teens forever and I just happened to be a teen in the 80s) and you could buy frames at Spencers Giftsthat allowed you to hang your favorite album cover without damaging the sleeve. I assume that this is what Sal is referring to.
These days, the parts are probably worth more than the sum. I would have split them up. Sold the album as one piece, album frame as a seperate one. Drastically expands the market.

Like the professionals say, "Sell everything at a loss, but make up for it with VOLUME!"
I guess that's why all those huge DVD powersellers bit the dust.

FYI: I retired from teaching workshops in Ebay auctions...I'm teaching part time at a college...I'm just trying to get rid of some excess stuff from past 2 years.

Sal did you try listing them as auction at Ebay? just curious. I have seen several framed album art and they are neat.
I just wish I could sell or get around to selling all the vinyl and covers I have. Greatly into procrastination lately.

I think we have all sold something at a loss sometimes, I certainly have. If you paid $20 for something, and sold it for $16, it's a loss, but if you don't sell it at all, it's a $20 loss.

Thank you amber & irked.
Yes, I tried selling it on Ebay and Ebay won.
Just sold my 2nd album frame -- Whooppeee!! Amazon....unfortunately I am throwing in the albums with the frame, but at least it lessens the inventory and pretty soon my storage room will be clear. AMZ is such a great place !
