Oh my god. Who's SPAM list did I get on today. I get 2-3 spoof ebay and PayPal emails a day and that's fine, I just delete them. I'm up to 58 today!!! All are for "Become a PowerSeller" and "Your elegible to be a PowerSeller". Well, I'm already a PowerSeller people. All of them are of course spoof emails but good god this is ridiculous.

I have learnt the hard way that it pays to change your ebay email address about every 6 to 12 months. definitely cuts out the spam mail.

Ditto, Classic!

I've had the same e-mail on eBay, and same ISP for over five years. My ISP has a service for spam filtering (at a few dollars extra each quarter) and notifies me when there are more than 20 pieces of junk mail waiting for my viewing. Those notices only come in about once a week. I just click "All", scan the lot and un-check any I want to save. The rest are deleted.

But then, I'm not a PowerSeller, either!

I received a new email saying that someone made a complaint against me and I should click on the link to respond, it also had the address from Ebay........it looked so real I never stopped to even think about clicking........so I clicked on the link and my AOL server put up a block for me saying that it was not a site I should go to......., then I went into my ebay to see if the email was in there but it wasn't .........sometimes we can get caught when we don't take a second to think.
