What is it with sellers? I just filed non payment against 3 of my buyers this morning. All 3 of them are sellers, 2 with store with over 500 items in inventory. The other one is a gem who states that she will be sending payment as soon as she recieves payment from her buyers... which I could accept but... She has had a total of about $250-300 is successful sales this week but has bid on over $1000 in items.

I don't know what it is but I get some with high feedbacks, sellers and they take their sweet time in paying. Not me I pay immediately and if I don't have the money I do not bid. I feel it a chancy situation to bid then hope I get some things sold and paid for before I could pay so I don't bid unless I have the funds to pay immediately...At least so far I have not gotten DA buyers that didn't even look at the pictures. Knock on wood.

I have often wondered why some people bid then wait almost 10 days to pay. BUT what hacks me the most is get a bidder who does not respond to any notices until you send reminder from ebay through NPB. Then they are loaded with excuses. arghhhhhhhhh

Fenix, sounds like your buyer with huge amount of bids out may have a buying problem. Maybe they are addicted to buying or the thrill of winning the bid.

I've had some problems with sellers too. My thought is that some of them may not care how fast their own buyers pay and therefore assume all sellers feel the same way.

And. . . this is tax season. If what we sell appeals mostly to people who are procrastinators, they're worrying about their taxes right now.

Once again it's time for:

My Top Ten list of stupid things eBay buyers say

10. "Just put it in a business-size envelope and put a 39 cent stamp on it"
9. "Can you track my shipped item and tell me where it is?"
8. "Don't you know my address? Why do I have to tell you?"
7. "I've already received items I bid on after yours."
6. "I know this auction is for an amethyst ring, but send me citrine instead."
5. "I know this auction is for size 10 but send me size 5 instead."
4. "Your auction doesn't have the shipping price anywhere in it." (LIE!)
3. "This ring is not a size 7. I know because my girlfriend's sister's ring fits me and I'm pretty sure she's a size 7."
2. "I don't want to pay 99 cents for this precious metal ring. If I buy a bunch, will you give me a better price?"

And the number one stupid thing eBay buyers say:

1. "I know you're wrong, because I'm a seller, too!"

"What is it with sellers?"

As you know, they are too busy listing items, processing payments, packaging items, and going to the post office.

Number 7 is the one I've seen too often. Yes, they've already received items they've won after they won mine, but--were they shipped from a closer location? Were they shipped priority or overnight instead of my media mail book shipment? Or first class? Duhhhhh.
