"Hi! I'm TEX TWINKIE, Meg's PERSONAL TRAINOR! We start each day with a nutritious breakfast of 12 HOSTESS TWINKIES..."
OBVIOUSLY, Tex's endorsement is NOT impartial! If ya look closely, you'll notice a TWINKIE shoved...

From what I understand, Meg blames the drop in earnings on including the stores in searches. Can she shovel any more crap?? She looks like he**.

Actually, they had an increase in earnings but a drop in profits. The profit drop is the result of a new change in record keeping practices which requires the cost of employee stock options to be deducted from profits.
They has a 33% increase in listings over last year.
The stock dropped because traders are crazy and since no one came out and said "We are going to tripple our profits in the next year" they went looking for green pastures.

OTOH; IOW; NLIBS; FWIW:
"Some of the uncertainty reflects anticipation on soon-to-be launched products. Also, tinkering with how customers searched for products dampened first-quarter sales, leading the company to roll back changes, but a recovery may take time."
Just...things that make ya go...wtf?

Translate that to: Ebay blames the inclusion of store items in search results for all their woes....
makes you wonder if they CREATED the situation so they could blame SOMETHING!

Tom beat me to that sentence. Ebay is tinkering with the search so no one can find our items. And who suffers? Only the sellers. Ebay doesn't lose money when they do this. The just make less money. We sellers lose money every time.
This situation really needs intervention by our attorney general. Class action lawsuits need to be filed.

Guys - they did not have a drop in income. They had a drop in profits because of a change in reporting requirements. The same change that is going to effect every company.

In all fairness to Meg (and this is coming from moi, a feminist): That is a terrible angle to take a picture of a person's face. I challenge some of you to take a good hard look in the mirror *from that angle* and see what you find!
Secondly, men in the business world have ALL of that stuff--wattles, multiple chins, baggy eyes--and who cares.
Thirdly, women in the Bay Area especially are not as into makeup as the rest of the world (I think Dallas is the worst for that!), and their friends and loved ones love them anyway.
That said, I can't stand the gal--not because of how she looks, but how she runs the company.

OTOH: some "folks" are just naturally BEAUTIFUL, regardless of the ANGLE:
LOOK at that STRONG "Wattle-Less" NECK!
LOOK at those "Honest Abe" PEEPERS!
LOOK at those CUTE & PERKY EARS!
Beauty is truth; truth is beauty! Mego can't hold a candle next to...RALPHIE...

Meg is in business and I don't mean show business. Why should she try and change her looks with plastic surgery? I am certain she feels very secure in herself and her achievements. As stated, look what some of the top company male CEOs look like and no one makes disparaging comments about their appearances. Do I detect some sort of male chauvinism in some of the comments?

If Medved Quote Tracker is right eBay is down 5 million auctions from last year at this time. 17.5 million daily count last year to 12.5 million this year. Also the sell thru percentage rate is down.

Google jumped on better results than expected. Even one local online auction site still has around a 20% increase in turnover every month according to filings (too late to invest as it just got snapped up by a media company)...

Now fess up there Tomwii, we've been seeing that same pic for 3 years. I think it's time for a current photo from the discussed angle before we can give our unbiased opinion of Ralphie's waddles.
(And I already see some serious bags under Ralphies eyes.)
Actually, I think I even see a family resemblance there

I think that lady who used to run Hewitt Packard, what is her name? She looks too feminine and attractive and it is distracting to men.
When she was laying off workers at HP,her husband was driving her to work in the morning and she hired a woman bodyguard who looks like a sumo wrestler!
