I am new to selling and was referred to Vendio and told how easy it would be. That they take care of just about everything for you. Any comments or advise on a better manager?

We could write pages and pages on how to use Vendio. I myself use it for everything from creating my listings offline with Sales Manager Pro, picture hosting, handling all pre and post sale functions to include checkout. I also use endicia.com postage and since Vendio has the ability to export .xml format to endicia with all the postage/package details it also makes shipping a snap.
Best advise would be to play around with it for a while and see if you have any specefic questions. To start with I would suggest setting all your preferences. This is the most time consuming task but once set you shouldn't have to play with them much. Just click on the My Account at the top right of this page and you will find sections for setting your Global Preferences, shipping, listing text, templates, ebay or other auction site preferences, etc...
I would also suggest printing out the PDF file users manual for the service you signed up for. Read through it and you will find the answers to most of your questions there. It's handy if you print it out as you can refer to it whenever you need to without having to search through the online version of it.
What service did you sign up for? Sales Manager Inventory Edition or Sales Manager Merchandising Edition? Any additional services like picture hosting, gallery, etc...

I signed on in the early Auctionwatch years and have found AW & Vendio services work well for me as a part-timer.
Of course I recall the old days when I took photos of stuff with a 35mm, had the film developed, scanned the photos to a host, transfered them to ebay, wrote the discription..I might have an hours worth of labor involved in something that sold for 5 bucks!

I am pretty much computer illerate, although I have learned alot over the years. I really love using vendio's services. I found them to be fairly easy to use. I did have to play around with it until it sunk in on how to use different aspects of the program. I still am learning new stuff about this program and I have been using it for about 3 years now. LOL ... I'm a bit of a slow learner.

I've been using it since it was Auctionwatch and I think it is well worth the money.
My favorite features are Sales Manager Pro, Image Hosting and Post Sales Management. Not everyone uses my check out but that's OK - I use ebay's check out as well and both work well.
I had a friend that used it as well but stopped because she thought the price wasn't worth it. She tried listing directly with ebay and quickly found out that ebay will cost you as much or more in the long run.

Love Vendio! I've been using it for about 5 years and wouldn't give it up for anything. I'm a small-time seller--maybe 30 items a week, average, power seller this month but that won't last long. SOOO easy to use, even though it costs just a bit more. I use image hosting, vendio gallery, and love seeing all my current, pending, and closed listings on one page, easily read (not like on My Ebay). Etc. etc.

I too have used Vendio since AW days started back in 1998 on ebay and 99 on AW and would be lost without it. It has helped in all processes of the ebay selling game. When I first started selling on ebay I remember having to send out personal emails to winners--Man when I think back to those days I cringe, keep track of responses and somehow keep up with who is going to do what and when. Vendio takes care of it all now days and I would hate to give that up. Even though ebay has a lot of stuff it does now it just does not compare to having all the information right there to look at like at Vendio all on one page mostly, unless you sell tons of stuff. I am just a part timer so I don't have to worry about wading through all that much. Worth every nickle in my opinion.
