among the scammers in Africa. I just received a spoof email from a fake buyer who wanted to close the deal on a non existent auction via Paypal. Mousing over the links showed an address with a .za suffix. My first thought was Zambia, but checking another site showed .za is South Africa. Watch out Nigeria!!! Your fellow crooks down south appear to be trying to gain market share.

I would love to know how many millions these scammers rake in a year.
Also wonder if they practice their "craft" worldwide.

I know what you mean - I always check my ebay messages before I answer any questions these days. If it's not post there, they get nothing from me.
