But Vendio closed my account....and now I have to reopen it with a "service plan"...do I absolutely have to choose a service plan just to use the community section?
http://lwright.biz/index.html

BTW to all who are really nasty to me on the boards, I am no longer selling the way I used to because I'm working the equivalent of 2 jobs...don't have time...but I do like to visit the boards now and then.

no, I don't think thats the way it goes.

I closed my account and I just had to keep an up to date credit card on file to be able to use the community forum.

From the PSI cafe site-
key theorists/theories IN PSYCHOLOGY

Good evening! Welcome to The Key Theorists/Theories in Psychology resource section of The Psi Cafe!

This section features Zeus: The Supreme God ("God of all Gods"

Psychology has become what it is today because of the work of many great theorists across the century. Both undergraduate as well as graduate students learn about many of the theorists as part of their course work. However, rarely do students see the "whole picture" behind what drove each theorist's ideas.

This section therefore highlights those theorists who have made major contributions in the field of psychology and thus our understanding of human behavior. Particular attention is given to those sights that provide information about each of the theorists and their theories that one often does not obtain from a course textbook. Also included are links to web sites on many of the approaches and/or views within the field of psychology.

Browse this section by:
1. The (main) approach for which the theorists are known
2. The theorists' LAST name

Enjoy your exploration of The Key Theorists/Theories in Psychol

Salgal may be correct. Effective today, Vendio's pay as you go account with 5 mb storage space is free unless you are using it. There's no reason not to be signed up for a plan. I've long expected Vendio to start limiting their forums to account holders. This could well be the start of a new policy.

No Jack. You would just sign up for their pay as you go plan, put a credit card on file and never use the service. If you never use the service you are never charged but you would still have access to the boards.

Hmm, looks like Ralphies buddy DogPile found some hit's.

From the Merriam-Webster Dictionary:

theorist
One entry found for theorist.
Main Entry: the·o·rist
Pronunciation: 'thE-&-rist, 'thi(-&r-ist
Function: noun
: a person who theorizes

There is no such thing as pay as you go plan, you pay and then you go or no go,if no go,it is your problem.

Yes they had theorist. But not theorists. The plural is theorizes. A "teacher" should know better.

You can find lots of misspellings on the web. Google will bring up anything you put in and then prompt you to correctly spell it most of the time. However if you put in "define: so & so" it will bring up the definition and the spelling. Hence the "theorists" screen shot. No such thing.

From vendio -
Pay As You Go Plan

$0.10/listing*, 1% final value fee ($4.95 max. per item)
Note: A $2.95 monthly minimum applies (including Sales Manager listing and final value fees and Image Hosting).

it just goes to show - you can count on two things if salgal posts.

1. glass will have something to say.

2. haha ALWAYS has something to say.
no matter what the subject or if it's applicable to the subject matter.

3. QUOTE: "BTW to all who are really nasty to me on the boards"

gee, do you think she was talking about me?

That policy ended today. Give them time to update the wording on their site and then read it again.

sparkz is correct. Here is a copy from the post I made a few weeks ago when I posted Vendio's notice.

Beginning May 9th, 2006, Vendio will be adjusting pricing for several Sales Manager plans.

Changes include the following:

* Eliminating the $2.95 monthly minimum on the Sales Manager Pay As You Go Plan. This change allows seasonal sellers to keep their Sales Manager accounts open at Vendio without incurring a Sales Manager fee in months with no listing or sales activity.
* Maintaining our current array of plans while adjusting some pricing elements.

Glassgrl -- I think she might mean me as well. But, then again, that might be giving too much credit than is due...

Sal -- you said you'd fix your signature file, but I guess you don't realize that the /index.html delivers an error.

But, don't go anywhere, Sal. There's humor in your posts that we all need more of - especially with gas prices on the rise and many complaining that the Summer sales slump is here already...

Wow, someone must not be selling the popular items. I don't consider the items I have right now to be hot items either, but sales have been decent. The summer slump generally don't happen until Memorial.

Stone--what would you consider hot items?

I have always wondered how to determine the hot items but then again I deal in used items and that could be real iffy. Sure would be nice if it went back to the old days when things sold real well and it was worth the time and effort we put into it. Now only Paypal and Ebay are making a killing not us sellers. Guess anyone selling gagets like mp3 etc are doing ok and are retail people getting their stuff super cheap. For us partimers not in business it is a crap shoot IMHO...
