I think I saw one of these posted before but I can't remember much about it. Anyone have a clue. I bet this is from japan.

If she has a pouch on the back, she's a posy-holder. I have 9 posyholders here, and the faces look a lot like your item's. Some of mine are labeled Block Pottery and some say "Made in Japan." If you search for Block posy holder you might find some.
I collected them over the years, and sometimes I think I should sell them, but they're really charming and I can't let them go - yet.

Oops, yes, I forgot about Brayton! We have two of them here, collected long ago by my husband's aunt and uncle with their names on them--Eugene and Dorothy. Cute stuff. So I guess it's not a posy holder after all!
