Final episode of West Wing tonight.

How much you want to bet that Sams lawyer fiance is the call girl law student (aka - the administrator from House) that we meet in the first episode that they are replaying before the finale? If it's not, it should be. Would be a great and fun little twist for the long time viewers.

Lordy, no--I won't forget! I'm all a-flutter right now, and we still have 1 1/2 hours to go. Don't anybody tell me how it ends! Please.

I'll bet you're right about Sam's fiancee. We shall see, though, huh.

I'm betting that Alan Alda is the v.p.

If you hear a mention of Sam's fiance during this episode, you're doing better than us.

In answer to the suggestion that Alan Alda will be VP -- keep guessing....

Very nice episode, but I'd say there were more powerful episodes over the past 7 years than this one turned out to be.

Okay, so I was wrong about the v.p.

Sigh. I have never been sorrier to see a series end. What a class act it was.

P.S. Fenix--they didn't actually say the call girl is Sam's fiancee--but I agree it would have been a nifty twist.

Wayne - Really brought to the surface just how much of the show was Sorkin... and John Spencer. Sorkin is a brilliant writer and Spencer took even the most average writing and made it something brilliant.

I didn't expect a mention of the fiance, I was hoping that as they panned thru the crowd at the inaguration, you would just see her sitting next to Sam.

The best scene was Jed and Charlie but bringing back the napkin was a really nice touch.

Not sure how they would have worked it but would have loved to have seen a final scene of Jed in the Oval talking to Mrs Landinghams ghost ala Two Cathedrals with her telling him that he has running late again and it was time for him to move on with the next chapter in his life.

(How ironic that we don't see Zoey in the finale but she's on Law&Order an hour later)
